Absolute artist, the King of Yéla in Senegal, is the one who has most and best made Senegalese music travel around the world.
His music or his voice can be found in more than 10 films around the world, including American blockbusters and not the least like Black Panther, the American film of all records and whose music received the supreme accolade: the Oscar for best film score.
Attached to his roots and culture, he is one of the best ambassadors of Senegalese and African culture.
He is also a committed man in Senegal and throughout the world (since he is now a representative of the United Nations Development Program).

We have the great honor to announce the name of the Godmother of the #GrandCarnavaldeDakar. Our mother, precursor in #Senegalese fashion, she has dressed all the African heads of state, first ladies and stars in Africa. She brought the Senegalese creation to its highest international level, promoting our unique know-how through the house Shalimar Couture. She wanted to conquer the world with her elegant and creative fashion. She succeeded. Tata Diouma Dieng Diakhaté is an African legend, an inspiration and a model of female entrepreneurship. Very close to the community, she is very invested in social work with an extraordinary generosity of heart.
She is a personality who represents the traditional as well as the modern and open to the world.
